As Reconciliation Specialist you will join our growing team at our central Leeds office. A lot of hard work has gone into the project mobilisation over the last 18 months, and you will have the opportunity to put your own stamp on the role as we continue through our go live date and throughout the duration of the contract.
Role - Reconciliation Specialist
Contract - Permanent
Hours - 37.5, Monday - Friday
Salary - £25,000 - £28,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily matching of unreconciled entries for both income and payments
- Prepare daily bank reconciliations across all client bank accounts
- Have ownership for the resolution of any non-reconciling items
- Reconciliation of the sub-ledger to general ledger for Payables and Receivables
- Produce daily reconciliation reports for Management review for distribution to the client
- Reconciliation of transactions between Operating and Financial systems
- Work in accordance with specified tools and processes to ensure an integrated service
- Clearing unallocated cash
- Direct debit administration and reporting any rejected payments, CC failures and chargebacks
- Ensure tasks are completed within reporting deadlines
Skills & Qualifications:
High volume reconciliation experience is essential- Demonstrate intermediate Microsoft Excel ability, specifically V lookups and pivot tables
- Solid exposure and proven ability to exhibit an accurate and systematic approach to bank reconciliations
- Experience of report generation and formatting
- Broad understanding of finance processes within Receivables and Payables
- Ability to work under pressure, maintaining accuracy whilst achieving timescales
- Exhibit organizational skills and the ability to prioritize
- Effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- Able to build strong relationships with other team members and external contacts
- Experience using Oracle SAP (preferred)
