Imperial College School of Medicine (ICSM) is seeking applications for the role of Clinical Education Fellow.
ICSM has a dynamic, innovative curriculum and assessment processes. The medical school curriculum has been fully mapped using a bespoke software, Sofia. Assessments are regularly reviewed to ensure they align with the curriculum. The School’s question bank has also recently been improved and upgraded. Furthermore, we are committed to innovative teaching methods and the use of mobile learning; all our students are equipped with iPads.
You will support these exciting educational initiatives and deliver teaching across a wide range of clinical areas in the programme. You will be based in the Faculty Education Office (Medicine), working closely with academics to develop and deliver curriculum, teaching and assessment of medical students throughout the six years of the MBBS programme. There will also be opportunities to get involved with evaluation and medical education research, as these roles dedicate significant time to these areas.

Clinical experience to post-foundation year.

Evidence of the successful delivery of teaching.

Demonstrable evidence of an interest in and knowledge of medical educational theory.

An ability to plan and organise own work to deadlines with minimal supervision.

An ability to use information technology effectively (in particular the range of Microsoft Office programs) and to manage data intelligently.

Strong written and oral communication skills; an ability to negotiate with staff at all levels.
This is a Full Time and Fixed Term post for 12 months at the Charing Cross Campus (with travel to other campuses when required).
