Business Development Executive

Salary: £30-32k basic + OTE £10-15k in Year 1 (uncapped)
The Role: This is a fantastic position for a Business Development Executive (BDE) who is looking to develop their B2B sales skills within a close-knit, collaborative team. You will have the opportunity to build relationships with some of the largest, most reputable law firms around the globe. As a BDE, you will be responsible for:

Selling sponsored content and branded media opportunities across a range of digital products

360 sales role pitching and closing deals with new prospects (70%), as well as managing the renewals process for a portfolio of existing clients (30%).

Targeting Lawyers, both in house and private practice and government councils
This role will involve a combination of self-prospecting, upselling to previous relationships, and renewing existing contracts. Thanks to our clients reputation and credibility within the legal space, cold-calls are rare, but the incoming BDE will still be expected to be a proactive, confident communicator, who can build rapport both over the phone and in-person.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to travel internationally several times a year to attend events and network with their international client base.

Requirements: For this Business Development Executive role, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

1+ year of B2B sales experience within a corporate environment exposure to both new business sales and account management is ideal

A proactive, humble team player with a desire to learn

Knowledge of the legal sector is desirable but not necessary

Previous experience using Salesforce or similar CRM system
