Job Description
We’re looking for 2 Customer support executive to join our newly formed customer support team in Oliver Kay.
Oliver Kay supply fresh produce to independent and national foodservice businesses around the UK and is a fresh produce supplier of choice for Bidfood. We work with our local fresh produce suppliers to deliver the best seasonal produce to professional kitchens across the country. Over the years we have built up a fantastic team of passionate people to help us to deliver our vision and we are proud to say that we now work with some of the very best growers from around the world.
The customer support team will form an essential part of our depot by providing support to both external and internal customers. Ensuring all areas of ordering requirements are carried out to the highest standards through managing order emails, handling inbound calls and processing orders accurately, and dealing with queries and complaints and providing a satisfactory resolution that enhances their experience of dealing with Oliver Kay.
You’ll be responsible for handling inbound calls for order placement and queries as well as outbound calls and emails to provide commercially viable solutions for the customer within agreed limits.
We need you to have a key mix of skills and be able to deploy them effectively when required and in accordance with changing customer demands. Firstly, you will need good experience of solving a variety of customer problems through effective questioning techniques listening and negotiation skills. You must be competent and have experience using Word, Excel & Outlook confidently and the ability to record information accurately. Finally, you’ll bring the dexterity and organisation needed to effectively and accurately key orders at speed.
You’ll be a strong and natural communicator and team player, used to working in a busy and challenging environment. You will be motivated, organised and driven to achieve results whilst building effective working relationships over the telephone.
Due to the nature of the business we operate over 7 days, flexibility is a key requirement as you will be required to work up until 6.30pm and weekend including roles for a permanent Sunday shift and weekend rota.
