Due to continued success, and growing business demands, we are currently recruiting for a PTS Trackperson role.
Working in and around, London, Kent, Sussex, and Wessex Region
Job description
- To liaise and maintain good relationship with the client’s representative, enforcement authorities and the general public.
- To wear all relevant PPE where mandated by the relevant safe system.
- To ensure that all work sites and area’s used by CCS are left in a clean and tidy manner.
- To ensure that any plant and equipment is only operated by staff with a relevant certificate of competence.
- To undertake all duties in a safe manner as required by site manager / team leader.
- To work within sentinel scheme rules.
Essential Qualifications
- Personal Track Safety (PTS)
- Track Induction (TIC)
Desired Qualifications
- Manual Handling
- Emergency 1st Aid
- Small Plant Tickets
- Full driving licence
- Be physically fit to meet the demands of working on track (including but not limited to Litter pickling, clearing sections of track of foreign objects and obstructions track maintenance, track reconditioning)
- Be willing to work nights or days depending on projects. Weekend work is available due to the nature of the business.
- A willingness to see yourself develop and grow within our company not over the short term but over the next 4-5 years and beyond.

- Be familiar with all safety requirements relevant to your post.
- Lead in the effective communication & implementation of safety related initiatives that apply to the works under your control.
- Attend client and company safety meetings/briefings as required, ensuring full attendance from your team (s) where you have responsibility to do so.
