Project Coordinator
Role Purpose
My client is continuing to grow rapidly and to support the next stage of their growth, they are recruiting a Project Coordinator. The role will work as part of a team undertaking underground and overhead fibre networks to enable the delivery of optimised, ready to construct fibre networks. Working closely with the Deployment team to provide scheduling support and coordination. The role is responsible for scheduling civils and cabling activities to support the Network deployment teams.
Role Responsibilities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Coordinating and scheduling construction and cabling works
- Working closely with Project Managers and interfacing with site staff as necessary
- Depending on the size of project being handled, he/she may be required to coordinate with project engineers and other departmental agencies and contractor representatives performing work
- They ensure that projects are adequately staffed, and workers also have access to building tools and materials.
- They are also responsible for supporting the project management staff in the preparation of the project scope, budget, and schedule.
- The construction scheduler work description also entails providing support in the definition of Work Breakdown Structure of a project as the basis of all project control system.
- concerning the project control systems and tools, procedures, reports, and assignment of responsibility.
- In addition to defining the project control approach, establish and maintain appropriate internal control safeguards to guarantee consistent reporting of accurate information
- Liaise with the Company’s Network Deployment teams
- Communicate with operational staff to identify critical areas of client delivery
- Driven and able to work autonomously
- Keen to continually increase the value that can be added by the role and the business
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Previous experience with the administration of projects
- Ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously
- Previous experience with Microsoft Office
- Maintaining strong team working relationships
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and a professional telephone manner
- The ability to work well under pressure
- Capable of taking ownership of tasks and communicating outcomes with clarity
- Strong communication skills with solution orientated approach to issue resolution.
Desirable
- Experience of job scheduling civils and cabling activities
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
