It is looking for a talented CAD Technician to join its growing team based in Central London.

Job description - CAD Technician
Our client is looking to recruit a CAD Junior Technician to support the existing technical team by producing drawings, models, and renders.

You will take responsibility for the accuracy of the drawings & specifications you produce but you will always work closely with project managers and designers as part of the team.

You will be expected to work within the office environment, undertaking projects that may include the creation of new models, resizing existing units, finding solutions for manufacture, and producing technical drawings and renders for retail furniture and environments.

Key responsibilities - CAD Technician
In this CAD Technician job, your responsibilities will include:
  • Producing drawings, models, and renders
  • You will take responsibility for the accuracy of the drawings and specifications you produce whilst working closely with the project managers and designers
  • Having hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite and other design software
  • Using your strong eye for aesthetics and visual details to ensure a quality final product
  • Listening to design needs, coming up with ideas and communicating them to clients and other members of the team
  • Maintaining high standards of quality to ensure only the best work is released to the employer and client

Job requirements - CAD Technician
  • A graduate from university, ideally having studied design
  • Proficient in the use of SolidWorks, Adobe Suite, and 3D Max
  • You will be highly organised with excellent communication skills and computer literacy
  • You will have an enthusiasm for the design industry
  • Able to work independently and within a team
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • A natural problem solver, with great organisation/time management and the ability to think both critically and creatively
  • A real go-getter and high achiever, with the confidence to work autonomously and get things done!
  • A genuine interest in the creative sector and design
