Description of Team / Department


Concrete Production Units Teesside site batch plants YNE&C area.

We are looking for an additional 5 concrete plant supervisor to help operate our three site-based plants on Teesside.

This is and extremally busy market with a lot of upcoming work projects.

Experience is an advantage; however full training will be given the successful candidate.

We are looking for a motivated forward-thinking individual, that will work as part of our team, and that is willing to work to help Hanson achieve its production goals on Teesside


Purpose of / Responsibilities of the role


To produce high specification concrete to our clients using the site production plants

To operate our plants with full care an attention to Health-Safety and Environmental and Quality aspects of concrete production, and all/any permits, and help promote these values.

To help support the Teesside production team across these very busy production units.

To help the area management team deliver its local and national targets and objectives to help achieve and deliver best practice at all levels of the business.

To be able and willing to work within a team, as well as by oneself to for fill the requirements of the job responsibilities.


Skills / Experience


We are looking for a fit self-motivate person that is willing to learn fast, and to then put this new knowledge into practice in the production environment.

Experience within the quarrying or concrete production industry is an advantage, however it is not essential as full training will be given to the successful candidate

Someone that is willing to learn new life skills in Health-Safety and Environmental and Quality aspects of concrete production, Including personal communication within the team as well as some basic computer skills.

Someone that is willing and able to operate mobile plant is also an advantage.

However full training will be given to the correct applicant.

Some supervisory experience is also an advantage but not essential.
