Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring Weekend Night Care Assistant to join our Care team. Reporting to Registered Manager.
You will be working for the award-winning Care Home in the beautiful village of Otterton, near Budleigh Salterton - The Old Vicarage Care Home, rated 'Outstanding for Caring' by the CQC.
Key objectives of the role
- To provide support and help for our residents so that they can continue to lead a dignified and fulfilling life
- To prevent and control the spread of infection and to follow the home’s infection prevention and control policies.
- Ensure all health and safety and environmental health standards are achieved and maintained.
Key responsibilities
- Get involved in all aspects of our residents' personal care
- Encourage residents to participate in recreational activities
- Support residents to lead a dignified and fulfilling life
- Deliver the highest standards of person centred care whilst respecting residents’ independence and choice
Additional working hours are available. Saturdays and Sundays 8AM-2PM or 2PM-8PM. Shifts are planned 4 weeks in advance.
Knowledge and Qualifications
- No previous experience is expected.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 12-24 per week
Salary: £11.05-£12.05 per hour
