PEOPLE SUPPORT (COORDINATOR)
Working: Full Time, WFH, with a minimum of 2 days per week face to face
Salary Band: £30,000 - £33,000 depending on experience.
THE WHY
If you vaguely know Vivobarefoot, you might think of us as a shoe company. Although we’re passionate about barefoot footwear, what really gets us moving in the mornings is reconnecting people with nature with the aim of making both healthier (and happier!). There isn’t a paint-by-numbers approach to working regeneratively. There are certainly useful frameworks, but in practice we digest good thinking from diverse sources and then figure out how to apply it to our unique ecosystem. This is what makes working regeneratively fresh, exciting and complex.
We’re trying to inspire a community of regenerative leaders, home-grown coaches, and cross functional communicators. We self-manage our work, give and receive great feedback and test and learn as we flow together in a furiously fast and rapidly changing ecosystem. We’re wild mavericks, curious thinkers, troublemakers and creative dreamers. We forget the status quo and try push the boundaries to where no one dared to go before. It’s hard, but vital work.
WHERE YOU’LL PLAY
We need a People Professional with a regenerative mindset who will seamlessly support all things people and helping to effortlessly get all the nuts and bolts of our People team coordinated. You’ll hit the ground running (barefoot) across the people team you’ll be supporting us to build:
BRILLIANT SYSTEMS & WORKFLOWS
Re-wilding our tools, systems and structures and resourcing that are the foundation of what we do

Updating our employee handbook, the 'Barefoot Code' (which has guideline and policy information and is hosted on Trello), prioritising what needs to be updated, and making it all seamlessly happenand on time.

Compliance – rally around all compliance requirements from BCorp to Health & Safety, DE&I, HMRC, Payroll etc.

People Documentation – leading all people documentation and filing.

People Tools & Systems Lead - Owning and mastering all our systems (OpenBlend, Happiness Index, PayCaptain, Expensify, Trello, Maptio etc), ensuring they are up to date at all times and inspiring company-wide adoption

Payroll – action all back office to prepare payroll instructions and documentation each month, liaising with Finance and People Leads.

Monitoring People department Inbox and ensuring everyone is responded to through, and taking proactive next steps.

All Things People – supporting all People Operations, process mapping, and keeping information updated, compliant and easy to access (contracts, payroll, expenses, Holiday management, People Tools, legal, benefits & policies, all monthly and annual reporting– P11D’s and PSA etc)

Reporting – support on all Reporting & Analysis on everything people, and employee record keeping, documentation and filing (including contracts, Visas, training, joining, leaving etc).

Ownership of the management of our amazing benefits package, including but not limited to: Healthcare, personal and professional allowances, staff seasonal free shoe allowance order process and travel allowance.

- Keen interest in Regenerative Leadership and building future-fit businesses; and a true ‘people person’ - able to understand, engage, and hold space for our epic team (we call this the ‘YIN’).
- A highly organised individual, obsessed with the detail and loves a to do list.
- Comfortable with leading projects from innovative start to effortless end and making sure everything People is running like a well-oiled machine (we call this the ‘YANG’).
- You thrive in fast paced, innovative and constantly changing environments – this is your happy place!
- 3 years of epic experience working within a People and Payroll teams across both remote and hybrid environments
- Ideally already CIPD qualified, otherwise happy to work towards achieving CIPD accreditation

- 20min coffee conversation with the Hiring Lead
- 45minute competency-based interview (with a thinking task to prepare)
