Senior Data Engineer

East Yorkshire

Contract vacancy. Initial 6 months.

£700 pd Outside IR35

Senior Data Engineer required to be part of a project team working on the overhaul and upgrading of this business's data capabilities.

Employing over 1000 people, and a history of growth and development stretching over 50 years, they have invested over £50 million in infrastructure over recent years. This data programme is part of that investment.

The Senior Data Engineer will be working closely with the data engineering leadership to create data pipelines that serve the whole business. You will create complex SQL scripts from scratch that will support the business transformation programme. You will also take responsibility for creating and implementing data validation and data transformation rules and capturing those into the data rules catalogue.

This position will need someone to be on-site at least 2-3 days per week.
