Are you a proactive and creative marketing professional who is experienced at working in a small, busy team? The Marketing & Web Team are looking for a keen individual to support on the planning, development and implementation of the Faculty of Engineering and Design’s integrated, imaginative and multi-channel marketing activities.
About the role:
You will contribute to the development of new content and the implementation of campaigns that target key audiences and ensure we meet Faculty and University objectives for recruitment, research reputation and internationalisation.
Your focus will be on international student recruitment activities and supporting on the launch and promotion of the Faculty’s new research strategy.
You will also support on the development of strategic marketing planning and portfolio developments through the ongoing provision of market intelligence and trend analysis.
About you:
Our ideal applicant will have experience in the creation and implementation of marketing content across a range of online and offline channels.
You’ll have:

excellent copywriting skills
-
proven experience of creating video and photo content to support advertising campaigns.

a strong track record of using different types of content to achieve results across a range of marketing channels including web, social media, digital advertising, CRM communications, events, and PR.
It is desirable to have:
-
experience of the higher education sector.

a professional marketing qualification, such as CIM or equivalent.
The Marketing and Web Team within the Faculty of Engineering and Design is responsible for the timely and effective communication of the Faculty's rich and diverse taught course and research portfolio. We plan, deliver and track the effectiveness of campaigns across a range of marketing channels including web, social media, digital advertising platforms, email communications, events and PR. Our campaigns are tailored to key stakeholder groups based both in the UK and internationally and are highly targeted to ensure the campaigns contribute to the Faculty of Engineering and Design achieving its commercial and strategic objectives. We are a small, proactive and busy team looking for a motivated individual to contribute to the continued development of marketing content and the delivery of our campaign activities.
