Role Summary
The KPMG Delivery Network (KDN) operates through a number of UK resident companies. Most of the VAT compliance therefore relates to UK VAT. However, these UK entities have a number of permanent establishments for direct tax purposes which does raise the prospect of KDN having other non-UK indirect tax obligations. In particular, KDN is registered to GST/HST and also Quebec Sales Tax in Canada. KDN also operates through a number of Delivery Centres, which are tax resident in various countries, such as Argentina, Costa Rica and Malaysia. The indirect tax compliance for these entities is handled by the local KPMG offices. UK VAT is handled via outsourcing of book-keeping functions to KPMG Hungary and outsourcing of VAT compliance to KGS Hungary.
We are looking for a full-time VAT Manager with a strong knowledge of indirect tax compliance work.
