Elysium Group are a successful hospitality group based in Colchester with a number of premium venues across the local area, and new venues due to open. We are looking to recruit a friendly and professional receptionist to join our Head Office team.
The ideal candidate will have an exceptional telephone manner, but also be comfortable dealing with guests face to face and via email. This is a varied role as enquiries from throughout the business are handled by our Head Office, ranging from restaurant guests and private events to venue managers, suppliers and service providers. Therefore, the successful applicant will need to be able to think on their feet and operate in a fast-paced environment.
This is a new role developed in response to our growing business, and as such will give the successful applicant an excellent opportunity to grow within the company.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited too:
- Being the first point of call for those contacting the business, be that over the phone, via email or face to face
- Developing and maintaining a solid understanding of all aspects of the business in order to respond to enquiries with accurate information
- Acting as a “Gate Keeper” for senior members of the management team
- Using the online reservations system to respond to enquiries from restaurant guests
- Responding to email enquiries in a professional and timely manner
- General office administration including printing, filing, stationery orders etc.
What we are looking for some one who is:
- Passionate about providing excellent customer service
- Well-spoken with an excellent telephone manner
- Computer literate
- Smart in appearance with a welcoming manner for occasions when you are welcoming guess into the business
Experience in a similar role or environment would be beneficial, but not essential.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 25 per week
Salary: £10.00-£11.00 per hour
