Floating Care and Support Workers

Full Time and Part Time hours available, across London

Do you want to help someone get back on their feet? Are you able to work with diverse and sometimes challenging clients? Have you got the patience, the persistence, and the resilience to connect with these vulnerable adults?

If yes, then we would really like to hear from you and from those who have worked in more generic care environments (domiciliary care, care homes) but wish to acquire some mental health experience.

Penrose Community Care & Support (PCCS) is a CQC registered service specialising in working with those living with mental ill-health who also have additional support to maintain independence.

These clients will require additional encouragement for their personal care within their homes but also escorting to appointments and other outreach services. Our clients are all different, many of them may have a mental health diagnosis; physical or sensory disabilities; some may have a history of substance abuse; and some may have been involved in the criminal justice system. All of them need our help to lead good, happy, productive lives.

About the role:

PCCS are recruiting for Floating Care and Support Workers to join our outreach services across London, but focused in Brent, Croydon, Lambeth, Kensington & Chelsea, Southwark, Westminster, Ealing, Bromley, Havering, Bromley and Lewisham. This position will involve a degree of personal care, environmental support, and some outreach services. It will suit both individuals with a broad experience working in a residential or community settings but also those new to the system who are looking for their first step into social care.
