We are looking to recruit a Veterinary Surgeon Team Leader to support the current Leadership Team in Dundee.
You will be responsible for managing the team of vets, including development of the team, delivery of projects. You will also be involved in recruitment of any Veterinary surgeons & may be involved in recruitment of other team members.
This role will be clinical & leadership based with time split accordingly, but don’t worry if you have limited or no leadership experience, PDSA supports Leaders; helping them develop & grow. We run an internal leadership programme for new leaders, appoint a mentor & have a wider team within the area for support.

About You:
To contribute to our team, you will be a qualified vet who enjoys working as part of a friendly, encouraging and supportive team providing consistent, quality clinical care. You will have good people skills, be confident in communicating with a desire to lead a team. We also believe in developing talent across the full range of clinical practice so a willingness to share your skills and lead by example is essential.

Combined with:
- Extensive small animal clinical knowledge, or the ambition to develop this.
- Understanding/ experience of operational efficiency.
- Understanding/ experience of budgets / responsible use of charity resources.
- Experience/ interest in Clinical auditing & protocols.
- A pride in customer service.
- Excellent Interpersonal skills & ability or desire to lead a team
