Role Overview
The purpose of this role is to provide support for the property legal team on a wide range of property and construction related work. The Paralegal will be assisting with property management queries, reviewing title documents and liaising with the property teams as appropriate to provide responses. They will be Preparing document approval memoranda and assisting with the logistics of getting documentation signed and managing documentation as well as providing assistance with elements of property projects and transactions as necessary and providing more detailed input into specific projects – for example, by working to collate due diligence information for disclosure purposes.
What you’ll do

The role will involve working with other members of the property legal team and whilst the role will be supervised by other team members, the individual will need the ability to work autonomously as well and recognise when it is appropriate to deal with issues and when to seek guidance.

The role will require the individual to liaise with other individuals and teams within Bupa and also with external agencies such as firms of solicitors and the land registry.

There will be elements of project specific work where more detailed involvement in particular projects may be required from time to time.
What you’ll bring

The role will require the individual to have completed a law degree

Completion of the legal practice course will be a benefit.

Previous work experience as a paralegal or similar will be helpful but is not essential and training/guidance on tasks will be provided where necessary.

The role requires good organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
