Assembly Specialist
Shift: Day Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Seeking a team-oriented Assembly Specialist with a positive attitude to join the Defense and Space business unit within Skyworks. The Assembly Specialist plays a key role in ensuring high performance and high-quality products are manufactured to customers for aerospace, defense, medical, extreme industrial and high-reliability markets and applications. This position requires a person with the ability to communicate and interface with different departments for assembly issues and corrective actions and be a self-motivated team player with a strong desire to succeed in a quality focused assembly operations environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Work as part of a team assembling semiconductors under a microscope using a liquid dispensing system, die attach, wire bond, seal, and mark equipment
- Prepare materials for production use (i.e. staging, measuring, mixing, etc.)
- Perform visual inspections before, during, and after the assembly process
- Review and complete lot travelers to ensure assembly process is documented correctly
Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience Required
3 years minimum experience in manufacturing of small products under a microscope
Basic computer skills (Windows environment and Microsoft Office Preferred)
Ability to work under a microscope for extended periods
Good hand eye coordination, dexterity, and basic clean room proficiency
Ability to monitor and assess self-performance
Familiar with MIL-STD visual inspection criteria preferred
Meticulous attention to detail and able to understand work related documents
Must have team-oriented attitude, accountability and ownership
Experience with small hand tools (i.e. tweezers)
Highly motivated, hands on, cooperative, and positive attitude a must
