Due to our continued growth, our UK Integrity Management office in Newcastle upon Tyne requires a Materials and Welding Engineer to deliver Welding and Materials related jobs in support of our clients. The role involves working with multi-disciplined engineers on a range of commercial client projects and internal R&D initiatives, including multiple energy transition related projects around hydrogen and more sustainable energy sources.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing Materials and Welding engineering consultancy services to customers on pipelines and installations, offshore structures, and associated plant
- Leading and Supporting energy transition projects, such as repurposing pipelines and other assets for future fuels including hydrogen, CO2 and ammonia
- Drafting and reviewing materials / welding specifications
- Delivering technical projects and reports to customers on programmes of work in the field of materials and/or welding engineering
- Providing materials and/or welding engineering consultancy to other groups in ROSEN, including input into failure investigations
- Giving presentations to and participating in technical meetings with clients
- Successfully managing complex / challenging projects with multiple resources
