Department and Research Operations Assistant
Salary from £28,240 to £31,527 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £33,753 pa inclusive of London allowance.
This is a fixed term appointment for 18 months, with any extension subject to available funding.
The Department of Methodology at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) is an internationally recognised centre of excellence in social science research methodology. The Department coordinates and provides a focus for methodological activities at the School.
The Department is seeking a highly motivated, efficient, and hardworking individual to join our dynamic and friendly professional services team. The postholder will provide operational support and assistance to staff, visitors, and students, assist with the administration of the department’s PhD programmes, and work alongside the Department and Research Operations Manager on tasks related to the day-to-day operations of the Department and its research grants.
This varied role will provide the successful candidate with an excellent opportunity to develop their career in Higher Education. Candidates should have experience in day-to-day office administration, and be able to demonstrate good attention to detail, strong communication and IT skills, the ability to plan and organise their own workload, and experience in contributing positively to a team.
