JOIN OUR BRAND ACTIVATION TEAM, STOCKPORT:
The Sport Direct Concept to Consumer team is responsible for building the optimum adidas product range within the UK’s number 1 sports retailer, to drive profitability and growth. The team consists of the merchandising and brand activation functions. The merchandising team builds and manages the product range, including pricing, forecasting, order monitoring and giving feedback to our European team on market trends. The brand activation team lands impactful omni-channel marketing campaigns, to drive sales and market share of adidas in Sports Direct.
Department Specific Responsibilities:
- The Brand Activation team is responsible for landing impactful omni-channel marketing campaigns, to drive sales and market share of adidas in Sports Direct.
- Working with external agencies to execute adidas marketing campaigns in Sports Direct stores, online and through consumer activations
- Working with Sport Direct’s marketing team to maximise adidas’ presence in Sports Direct campaigns
- Sourcing product for photo and film shoots
Key generic responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to wider CTC (Concept to Consumer) team
- Assist with implementing and executing project work as advised by manager
- Work collaboratively and build cross functional relationships
- Have the confidence to make suggestions for improvements
- Display enthusiasm for new ideas
Key generic knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Competence in basic Microsoft packages
- Strong written and communication skills
- Organisational skills
- Ability to use own initiative
- Passion and enthusiasm for the adidas brand
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors students enrolled in university seeking a 12 month placement/year in industry
- OR Undergraduate gap year students seeking an internship before undertaking a Masters degree
