We are looking for an outstanding Vice President to be part of our Securities Service New Business / Client Mandates in the capacity of a Program Test Manager.
- Provide testing and implementation leadership to direct team and extended program; and partnering with clients, incumbent providers, vendors and market participants in developing a joint test and implementation strategy
- Developing and Owning Program Test Strategy, roadmap, managing the scope and timelines, developing testing and project plans, tracking to required due dates .
- Oversees testing for all technology components of enterprise-level applications, including planning, tech delivery of code for testing, backlog governance, prioritization, and selecting relevant testing and automation approach and framework
- Collaborate with tech partners to further integrate testing in early development lifecycle
- Review existing test plans, execution velocity for various product testing teams, overall quality, and cost to ensure it aligns and keeps current with industry standards
- Keep abreast of market developments, trends, competitive landscape, Industry standards and appropriately evaluate and introduce new tools & strategy to meet transformation agenda
- Oversight of Test Managers across product and operations teams responsible for various phases of testing i.e., component, functional, end to end, joint testing with Clients / 3rd parties, model office and production parallel
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Expansive experience in delivering testing for high-quality, enterprise-level advanced technology applications or automation solutions, understanding the technical and business design elements of configurable and modular components
- Experience in engaging clients and front office teams required
- Strong test management and project management expertise in Financial Services, preferred experience in enterprise reference data
- Strong communication skills with ability to provide clear and succinct verbal updates on their work to colleagues, senior executives, and clients
- Actively contributes to team meetings / conference calls with colleagues, stakeholders from other functions and clients / 3rd parties
- PowerPoint skills - able to create individual slides and structure presentations with minimal input and need for secondary review
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Extensive direct experience in a testing and project management roles with commensurate people management experience
- Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Master's degree
- Experienced in managing matrix teams and get the functions delivered
- Experience in Process Automation and Low Code tools like Win Automation, UI Path
Location / Travel: The role based out of Canary Wharf London office and requires working from office for at least 3 days in a week. Occasional domestic and international travel to meet with teams and stakeholders may be required.
