We’re looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team based in Manchester. Within this role, you can enjoy you can enjoy remote working, flexible hours and the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects of all sizes and complexities and even more.
Location: Manchester, Greater Manchester - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required.
Contract: Permanent, full time, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you’ll be working within the Commercial team in supporting them in building projects that support and develop the local communities.
Your day to day will include:
Assess, review and mitigate commercial and contractual risks and implement Kier Groups policies for risk management
Prepare and present monthly cost reports, value works executed by Sub-Contractors and certify interim and final payments.
Assist the team with commercial and contractual expertise
Who are we looking for?
This role of Senior Quantity Sureyor is great for you if:
Proven experience in managing the commercials over the full project lifecycle in education, commercial, leisure, healthcare, Ministry of Defence, and mixed-use projects
Experience in both JCT & NEC forms of contracts
