Hours: Mondays 2.30PM until 5.30PM, Tuesday 2.30PM-5.30PM, Wednesday 2.30-5.30pm
Rate: £10.30 per hour
Area: Central York
I am looking for a Personal Assistant (PA) to join my small team of PAs who support me. I am in my 40s and I live in Central York with my husband our baby daughter.
The new addition to my team is required to to cover annual leave and sickness for my other PAs.
I am exploring doing online courses and am involved in many other things. I need support to manage my diary, appointments, planning, thinking things through, career development, other daily activities and the things that crop up in life from time to time that take some organisation. I will also need some support with parenting tasks. I do not require you to care for my baby but you will be there to provide me with support to enable me to parent in the way in which I want to.
I also need some support with some domestic tasks around the home. Now restrictions have eased I have started getting out and about again, so being able to drive would be a big advantage.
The successful applicant will be:
- Organised, patient, practical and task orientated
- Reliable, committed, cheerful, professional, and respectful
- Flexible
- Someone with a great sense of humour
- An excellent listener and able to use your initiative
- Prepared to use PPE in my home and when out and about
- Ideally you will have had both Covid 19 vaccinations
Tasks will include:
- Supporting me to plan and organise daily activities and household admin
- Support me to stay focussed with a clear plan to start and finish tasks
- Some domestic tasks, including light housework and laundry
- Support with parenting tasks such as washing and sterilising bottles.
- Help planning and doing shopping

The successful candidate will have had or be willing to have their Covid-19 vaccinations.
