£34,976 – £37,904 per annum, pro rata (for exceptional performers, there is scope for further progression of up to £48,180 per annum, pro rata)
We have a unique opportunity for a Human Resources Advisor to join the University on a job-share basis for a 12-month period.
As part of the HR Business Partnering Team, you will be responsible for providing first-line professional HR guidance and support to managers, as well as managing HR casework. Working collaboratively with your job-share partner, you will work with the business to deliver efficient, proactive, innovative and pragmatic business-focused HR solutions and recommendations. You will also work proactively with the business to improve employee relations through coaching and building management capability to support effective people and performance management.
This is a part-time role for 16 hours per week. As this is a job share with a current member of staff, the days and hours needed are fixed: Monday 9.30 – 16.00, Tuesday 9.30 – 16.00, Wednesday 12.30 – 16.30 (inclusive of 30-minute breaks on Monday and Tuesday).
Skills
You'll have current knowledge of employment legislation, its application and best practice, combined with HR generalist experience in a large and complex organisation. This role involves working with various stakeholders to develop their HR skills through a coaching approach to ensure a high-quality staff experience across the organisation. You will also have a relevant degree or equivalent HR experience.
