About PneumoWave:

Based in central Scotland within easy reach of both Glasgow and Edinburgh, PneumoWave is a Digital Health company developing highly innovative real-time monitoring platform solutions for patients with respiratory illness. Combining proprietary sensor technology and innovative AI driven digital therapeutic software, PneumoWave’s technology is designed to detect and alert to life-threatening events, reducing preventable deaths from respiratory illness.

Following significant investment, we are seeking a Data Scientist with algorithm development knowledge to assist with the upkeep and development of PneumoWave’s algorithms.

Responsibilities include:

Execute, analyse and interpret the output of new and existing algorithms against captured clinical and experimental data.
Work with physicians and physiologists to interpret respiratory data.
Identify trends in data and build a warehouse of respiratory data.
Contribute ideas and recommendations to the wider product design team.

Communicate design and performance metrics.

Qualifications & Experience

Degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant subject like Physics, Mathematics or Computer Science.

You have experience working collaboratively with engineers and product owners to understand customer needs and technical capabilities and discover exceptional solutions.
You have experience working in Python, SQL. C++ is desirable though not essential.

Skills:

Excellent written and spoken communication skills.

Ability to work with multiple priorities.
Creativity and problem solving
Good documentation practices
