Team
As a member of a small and high-performing team, the ER Specialist role is essential to implementing the company's ER strategy by developing solutions that encourage self-service sufficiency, foster inclusivity, increase people management capabilities, and prevent the recurrence of ER cases through proactive interventions and analysis.
What you'll be doing
The job accountabilities of this role involve providing remote case support, promoting employee/manager self-service, and offering tailored support to stakeholders across the business. The role includes managing a caseload of ER matters, advising on HR policy and procedures, and proactively managing concerns to prevent ER cases from recurring. The role also involves contributing to the development of standardized policies, processes, toolkits, and training materials, as well as tracking and analysing trends and causes of employee relations cases. Additionally, the role involves contributing to projects that support the delivery of the ER strategy, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of best practices, and ensuring performance against applicable SLAs.
Requirements of the Role
What you'll bring to the team
The ideal candidate for this position should possess a broad and in-depth understanding of UK employment legislation and have previous experience advising on complex Employee Relations activity in a fast-paced, multi-site HR environment. They should be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, build relationships quickly, and remain calm under pressure. The ability to work independently, manage workload, and deliver pragmatic solutions is also essential. Additionally, familiarity with MS Office and relevant HR systems is necessary, and the candidate should be willing to travel across easyJet base locations within the UK if needed. A CIPD qualification, previous experience in a unionised environment, and HR project delivery experience are desirable. According to the CIPD Profession Map, the candidate should operate at Associate Level or above for Employee Relations Standards and Foundation Level or above for Organisational development and design standards.

This role will be hybrid working 2 days a week based in Luton and may include some travel.
