About the role and our team
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Caretaker to join our friendly team at Willaston Primary School!
Within this role, you will ensure the security of the site is maintained and undertake day to day supervision of cleaning staff to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene, as well as making sure Health and Safety standards are met.
Day to day your responsibilities will include:

Organising work programmes and training for cleaning staff
- Contributing to a quality service

Ordering provisions within established procedures and agreed budgets
- Maintaining and repairing the site including minor redecoration work and replacement of lamps and plugs
We are a partnership of schools, linked with Dhoon Primary School and Laxey Primary School. Therefore part of your role will be to provide additional support and capacity to the teams across our partnership of schools from time to time.
This role provides an exciting opportunity for someone who is well organised, flexible and reliable to be a key member of the school team and a visible member of the school community, as well as a positive role model for the children.

A uniform will also be provided.
