Qualifications needed:
- Driving License (Required)
- Access to vehicle (required)
- Good communication and listening skills
- Ability to follow procedures and policies
- Good writing skills
- A diploma in Social Care is an advantage
- A genuine concern for people’s welfare
- Organized, flexible, and responsive
- Experience an advantage however full training provided

Job Description
Your daily duties could include: depending on service users needs
- Supporting individuals to live independently in their own home
- Meal preparation and feeding, light domestic duties like cleaning, laundry and shopping
- Moving & handling, using equipment where required
- Companionship which could include playing a board game, or simply being someone to talk too, don't be just a 'carer'
- Getting to know clients and their interests and needs
- Helping with personal care like bathing, dressing or using the toilet
- Acquiring, securing and giving out medication
- Helping clients manage their budget, paying bills and writing letters/emails
- Supporting families as they get used to new caring responsibilities
- Taking clients on days out and helping to organise leisure activities
- Working with other health and social care professionals to provide individual care and development plans
