The Role
We are seeking a People Business Partner (HR4HR) to come and support our growing People Experience department. The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, solution-orientated and applies a people-focused lens to everything they do.
You will be managing various large scale projects, bringing expertise to help develop solutions whilst working with the people experience business unit to help deliver its strategy.
You will work in collaboration with the wider People Team, Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition and Total Reward teams to ensure we provide the best support for our people, who are based across our global locations. We are a fast-growing global company, so we are looking for someone who can be hands on and happy to adapt to the changing needs of the business (no day is the same here at Frontiers!).
We are part of the wider People Experience Team, and are expanding rapidly, to support the growing needs of our people and business. We have an exciting mix of nationalities, experiences and skills which makes for a very dynamic and collaborative team.
This is a fully remote role.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning:
- Reskilling and upskilling: identify training needs and assist the L&D function in aligning training programs with business objectives.
- Strategic workforce planning: ensure the company’s workforce has the right size, shape, cost, and agility for the future.
- Succession planning: select and develop key talent to ensure there are talents to fill in critical roles.
Coaching population:
- Conduct weekly or bi-weekly meetings with business leaders and provide HR advice where necessary.
- Be up-to-date on employment laws and regulations, as well as other legal requirements regarding people management, to help leaders ensure compliance.
- ER case management, guiding both managers and employees in cases by providing an objective guidance, encouraging a successful result for both parties.
- Provide guidance on the creation and implementation of HR processes and policies.
- Promote adoption of technology, self-service, change management and continuous improvement.
Talent Management:
- Conducting day-to-day performance management guidance to line managers (for example mentoring, career planning, coaching, etc.)
- Helping line managers deal with organizational, people, and change-related issues.
- Optimizing organizational design to increase productivity and improve performance of the business.
Being a company culture and employee experience champion
- Provide advice and suggestions for culture-related initiatives, such as cultural transformation.
- Working together with management and personnel to solve conflicts and help facilitate positive employee relations, maintain a good working environment, build morale, and decrease unwanted turnover.
- Provide effective internal and external customer service with focus on strong communication and business acumen.
Data literacy:
- Use data and metrics to identify trends, anticipate business needs and develop action plans, including attendance and attrition deep dive and planning.
Employee Relations:
- Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
- Partners with the legal department as needed/required to manage day to day employee cases and partner exceptionally with managers guiding them through complex processes, giving advice and reducing legal risks.
Requirements
- You have great experience in the HR field - Preferably in various HR roles with a thorough understanding of the professional HR field.
- You have a solid base in operational HR and a mature, independent mindset. You can challenge both the application of HR policies & processes for our own HR and be a trusted partner for your HR colleagues.
- You have a proven track record for leadership-, team- and individual development.
- Experience with six sigma or lean methodology for project management
Personal Skills:
- Consultative thought leader, with ability to align different visions across multiple layers of stakeholders.
- Excellent communicator, convincing and emphatic (English Language written and spoken), influence across different levels and manage without power. Style flexibility to effectively give advice to professional peers.
- Good mix of thinking and doing: able to have challenging discussions combined with pragmatism to bring it to concrete actions;
- You have expertise in implementing D&I strategies across the organisation with an inclusive approach to foster a healthy Frontiers culture.
- Motivated for a role where operational, tactical & strategic HR aspects are combined, as well as the ‘hard’ and ‘soft’ aspects of HR.
- Conceptual strong to be able to deal with complexity, ambiguity & a quick thinking environment.
- You have extensive Project Management skills within different size projects and a proven Qualification.
- Display mental flexibility to deal effectively with shifting priorities, demands and timelines.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a pressurised environment and work proactively to ensure project milestones are met.
- You are a team player and at the same time able to work independently.
