Position Summary:
As a Senior Team Leader you will lead, mentor and support the packaging teams within our operational areas. You will take ownership for the department resource management and schedule adherence as well as acting as the Operations Manager delegate as vital. You will author/review/revise procedures as well as Master Batch Records (MBR), as needed, to streamline on the floor commercial operations while ensuring the highest compliance to quality. In addition to having expert process knowledge, you will also serve as a site superuser in the SAP ERP system. With this knowledge, you will provide formal and informal training, mentor, and advising of both peers and new employees.
The cold area operates at temperatures of 2 to 8 degrees and applicants need to be able to work in this environment.

Assist in introduction of new processes

Assist in regulatory and client audits

Adherence to schedule and resource prioritisation for department

Coordinate and manage safety investigations

Manage Teams training programme and provides SOP and SAP training to both new employees as well as current staff

Initiate process improvement projects and manage project teams to project completion

Maintain, trend and report departmental critical metrics

Approve time sheets

Raise and approve Purchase Orders

Performance Management and goal setting

Lead department tier reviews
-
Aligns with and harmonizes site to standard processes within the Global SAP program
-
Authors, reviews, and revises SOPs and MBR within the Commercial Packaging Operation

Initiates changes controls in the Trackwise system in conjunction with the onboarding of new client work
-
Assists in problem solving for the commercial leadership team related to resolving operational and/or SAP issues. Complete protocol requests, deviation investigations, change controls and corrective/preventative actions in the specific time frame

What do I need:
-
Previous Management/Supervisory/Team Leader experience of a team
-
Experience working within a GMP, MHRA or heavily regulated environment
-
Worked within an operational environment – i.e. manufacturing, warehouse, factory, packaging, production line, or a similar setting

Proficient in use of electronic and automated equipment
-
An understanding of computerized ERP systems such as SAP, or GPM
-
Strong interpersonal skills
-
Able to work in cold conditions of 2 to 8 degrees
