- Provide support and technical leadership to teams of developers, ensuring that they have the skills and abilities to carry out their role.
- Collaborate with partners to ensure we have the capability to deliver our roadmap of development, focussing on quality and outcomes.
- Define the strategy for future development in collaboration with strategic partners, evolving capability and introducing new capability to support the needs of the business.
- Drive the building of a new development team in Three UK and making connections within the business to ensure the team is successful in delivering key business solutions.
- Drive a high-performance culture by ensuring regular one to ones, managing objectives and year end reviews to ensure that key performance indicators and behaviours meet our objectives.
- Evolve capability and practices of development teams with a view of maintaining up to date technologies and automation.
- Use your technical skills to advise and consult on digital solutions, leading to the development, implementation, and improvement of technical services.
- Work with designers, product specialists and business owners to create dynamic applications and digital services across Three UK’s platforms both internal and customer facing.
- Work with external partners and agencies to assist with projects that may require integration with internal systems or data feeds to be provided or received.
- Co-ordinate and collaborate with a team of developers in Three Ireland.
- Organise and participate in team workshops, tech talks and brainstorming sessions to come up with better processes, introduce new technologies and come up with great projects and innovative solutions to drive the Digital team forward.
- Responsible for ensuring best practices are in place to ensure resilience and security.
- Close cooperation and coordination with the team including Business Analysts, Testers and Support teams.
- Manage key stakeholders.
