Junior Web Developer / Onsite Technician (FT)

Our Technical Managers are responsible for building and maintaining online registration systems, as well as providing technical expertise at key conferences and exhibitions, primarily in the United Kingdom but also across the globe. When working away from the office, your travel, food and accommodation costs are paid for by the business.
A good standard of verbal and written English is required. This is a full-time role, primarily standard office hours but flexible working can be accommodated. The events industry is not strictly 9-5, there will be some out-of-hours and weekend work together with UK and possibly overseas travel. The ideal candidate will have a UK driver's license and be based within 30 miles of the Coventry office. After an initial office-based period for training and onboarding our systems, your week can be a mixture of home and office work. Your primary responsibilities will be:

Using the technologies listed above to build booking pages and systems based on client specifications.

Liaising with clients to help plan smooth registration and entry to their event.

Setting up and maintaining registration equipment at venues across the country/further afield.
Experience in any of the following will be an advantage:

Laravel or other MVC Frameworks

Version control (we use Git/GitHub)

JavaScript frameworks (we use Vue.js)

Blade templates
The ideal candidate will also:

Be a confident and clear communicator.

Be thorough and have high attention to detail.

Be reliable and have good timekeeping skills.

Have some general IT and/or networking knowledge.

Be willing to travel and spend time away from home.
Salary: £24,000 - £30,000 depending on ability & experience.
