The White Swan menu features gourmet takes on British pub classics, as well as a great selection of crowd-pleasing international options. As well as original a la carte dishes there are modern classics like stone baked pizzas, burgers with all kinds of toppings plus pub classics like fish and chips, steaks, and BBQ ribs. Plus, a great vegetarian / vegan selection. Over 75% of our menu is also suitable for those requiring a gluten free meal.
On Sundays, enjoy roast dinners with all the trimmings in additionon the the full main menu at The White Swan near Peterborough. We are looking for a Line Chef to work alongside the Head Chef and the team assisting with the daily running of the kitchen. Your duties will include organising daily food prep, delegating some tasks to juniors ensuring standards are maintained. Cooking during service and covering sections when required.
We are looking for a friendly, talented chef, somebody who enjoys being busy and can keep a cool head under pressure. The kitchen is very busy, working as a key member of a small team you must be able to think fast and accurately.
