About The Service
The Into Work Advice Service provides support to people who are actively seeking employment or looking to upskill; the team is able to offer support and intensive mentoring through externally funded projects and volunteering opportunities.
The Into Work Advice Service manages a number of externally funded employability projects, which is supported by the work of the Quality Team through audits, monitoring and evaluation of each of the programmes.
This role will specifically be supporting the Adult Learning provision.
About the job
The role will assist the Into Work Quality Team to develop and manage a robust reporting function, ensuring performance data is submitted to funding providers timely and accurately each month as well as internal core data and Key Performance Indicators.
The post will be responsible for appropriate audit and quality checking inline with external accreditation standards.
The role will work towards strict GDPR standards and processes.
The role will provide written feedback for Adult Learning Managers on audit findings and will develop staff training sessions where necessary. A record of internal verification and training will be maintained inline with Awarding Bodies standards.
The role will maintain databases and spreadsheets to ensure accurate and timely certification for all learners. This role will also complete all SAP processes for purchases within the Adult Learning delivery teams.
What We Are Looking For From You
To assist the Into Work Coordinator (Quality) to manage an audit schedule.
Undertake the auditing and quality checking of learner accreditation.
Effectively maintain and monitor management information and data, ensuring key information is accurate, and acting appropriately to mitigate errors.
Ensure certificates are processed within a timely manner.
Undertake a range of complex administrative tasks to meet service area and customer need.
Provide administrative support alongside central team, including general office duties and providing cover in outreach locations when needed.
Act as a first point of contact handling enquiries and calls regarding audit and monitoring issues.
Support training and development of staff within the service where necessary, by evaluating common errors and developing training sessions for staff when required.

This post is temporary until 31/03/2024.
