AVAILABLE ROLES
FACTORY OPERATIVE:
Duties and Responsibilities
- Picking, packing and labelling items
- Stacking packed products onto pallets in respective out-loading areas
- Quality Checks
- Shrink wrapping finished items
- Supplying machinery with raw materials
- Operating basic machines
- Comply with all Company Health & Safety policies, safety rules and safe working practices at all times
Person Specifications:
- Previous experience of working in a factory environment is desirable but not essential
- Enthusiastic with a strong desire to learn and improve.
- Methodical by nature with a keen eye for detail
- Adaptable to change with the ability to listen and follow instructions, whilst using own initiative if required
- Basic understanding of computers
- A strong team player
WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE:
Duties and Responsibilities
- Picking and packing orders
- Collating and processing initial order sheets for incoming and outgoing goods
- Moving stock around by hand or using forklift truck
- Ensuring paperwork is up to date
- Making sure all stock is labelled and stored correctly
- Check loads for damaged or missing items upon receipt
- Clean the space and ensure that goods don’t get damaged
- Completing tasks within allotted time frames
- Work in accordance with all the Company' Health & Safety policies, safety rules and safe working practices
Person Specifications:
- Previous experience of working in a warehousing environment is desirable but not essential
- Enthusiastic with a strong desire to learn and improve
- Methodical by nature with a keen eye for detail
- Adaptable to change with the ability to listen and follow instructions, whilst using own initiative if required
- Basic understanding of computers
- A strong team player
HOURS OF WORK
Hours of work will be 47½ hours per week, working Monday to Friday, 07.00-17.00 with a half hour unpaid lunch break.
PAY
Starting salary will be at least the National Living Wage.
Furthermore, in line with the needs of the business there may be occasions when the daily working hours are reduced. Should this occur, all staff will be given prior notice but still paid for the full working hours, at the same hourly rate.
