Retail Analyst - ASDA
Hybrid – at ASDA head office 3-4 days a week and occasional travel to 2 Sisters Food Group in Birmingham

UK Poultry represents more than half of 2 Sisters’ business by sales. The division employs over 9,000 people working in a chilled environment to process poultry products which are then marketed to UK consumers via major retailers.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for you to join the Commercial team within our Poultry division to work closely with our Retail customer ASDA. As a Retail Link Analyst you will support the team in delivering the internal/external category business plans to help drive category sales growth.
This role offers fantastic experience in a fast-paced environment where you will be supported and provided with opportunities to develop your career in the food and commercial industry.
You’ll also be responsible for:
- Support the development of internal/external category business plans.
- Delivery of key initiatives to drive category sales growth.
- Support with service level whilst improving waste measure
- To maintain account administration & documentation such as sales trackers and master data changes.
- Manage & circulate core range & promotional activity documentation
- Communicate over’s & shorts to customers, investigate reasons for via specific manufacturing sites.
- Keep up to date with store and product activity through store visits and product reviews.

· Ideally Agricultural Marketing, Food or Business qualification – educated to degree level or equivalent.
· Experience in a category, insights or data role.
· Strong communication skills.
· Confident in making presentations and producing written reports.
· Quality focused and commercially minded.
· Work on own initiative, is flexible, positive and confident.
· Good IT skills – Word, Excel, Power Point and Access database.
· Numerical and focused on detail.
