Here at CDER Group we are currently looking for a driven, accurate and experienced HR Coordinator to join our HR department. If you can hit the ground running, enjoy the fast pace of a HR department, and want to enjoy coming to work, this could be the role for you!
The role is flexible and is located at our Darlington office, and with Hybrid working there is also flexibility to work some days from home.
This role provides administrative and advisory HR support to the business and ensures an efficient and effective, administrative, clerical and advisory service as part of the HR Team and would ideally suit a HR Assistant looking for development or a Senior HR Admin looking to take the next step in their career. The successful candidate will also undertake other tasks as required as part of this team.
The role is permanent full time working 35 hours Monday - Friday based in Darlington and reports to the Group HR Manager.

Responsibilities
- Processing and assisting with certification for enforcement agents including liaising with the courts
- Issuing and creating change of terms documents and advising line managers where necessary along with required administration
- Logging and processing absence as notified by line managers.
- advising and guiding managers on absence issues including: escalation points, assisting in RTW and welfare meetings where required.
- providing reports on key MI such as absence turnover
- Processing and monitoring of the company benefits and their providers
- Advising and processing all family leave related queries
- Advising and processing of flexible working requests
- Issuing letters for overpayments
- Assisting the ER Advisor with first line employee relations issues
- Collating monthly payroll data relating to areas of responsibility e.g. absence
- Creating and issuing leaver correspondence
- Holiday processing and reporting
- Responsible for HR related tasks of SE Contractors
- Keeping abreast of current employment legislation
Personal qualities, experience and skills
- Willing to learn with a keen interest in HR
- IT proficient
- Able to demonstrate strong writing and verbal skills
- Must have a polite and professional telephone manner
- Resilient and confident
- HR experience whether from a managerial or HR role
- Driven to ensure that all activities are delivered on time and as required
- Proactive with effective time management and prioritising
- Strong team player
- Strong planning and organisational skills
- Attention to detail
- Able to make effective decisions quickly and know when to escalate
- Administrative experience gained in a fast moving, detail focused environment
- The ability to build strong relationships and using your own initiative is essential
