The Triage Role is a core functionality for processing routine mental health referrals to the relevant teams within BDCFT.
Along with opportunity to lease with health care professionals and ensuring a smooth transition for patients care.

- To work as part of the First Response Triage team
- To clinical assess and triage routine Adult Mental Health referrals from third parties to the appropriate mental health service
- To identify urgent referrals and liaise with the Urgent First responder team members
- Takes leadership from assistant practitioners within a delegation
framework for agreed tasks.
- Ensure high standards are maintained in a safe environment, which
promotes equality and sensitivity for all individuals.
- Ensuring that at all times you act within your sphere of clinical
competence and adhere to the Organisational Behavioural Competencies
- To Liaise with friends, family and carers signposting to support services
