Operations Manager
Eco Brite Cleaning Services Limited is a fast-growing eco-friendly commercial cleaning company looking for an Operations Manager to join our team.
This role is full time, nominally 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexibility to meet the needs of the business.
A fully expensed Company vehicle is provided with the role and the successful candidate will oversee the day to day management of various client sites and cleaning staff across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire ensuring that the highest standards are delivered in line with the expectations of our clients. You will be expected to work some early mornings / evenings and occasional weekends as required.
You will be required to use own initiative, work independently while being part of a team, reporting directly to the General Manager
The candidate must possess the following:
- Experience in the cleaning industry across multiple sites (75 plus)
- Experience in managing a large workforce
- Working knowledge of health and safety systems in the cleaning industry
- Excellent time management skills
- Self-motivated with a flexible approach
- Ability to train and mentor cleaning operatives
- Ensuring that your sites are fully staffed ensuring holidays and sickness are covered
- Carrying out cleaning audits
- Liaising with clients on a regular basis
- Understanding of cleaning methods and processes
- Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained and stored correctly
- Experience with stock ordering and working to budgets
- Experience in inducting new starters
- Experience creating rotas and schedules
- Cleaning when necessary
- Good communication skills, verbal and written
- Computer literate
- Ideally must live in Hull, Grimsby or Scunthorpe or the surrounding area.
