Account Manager (New business sales)

Exciting opportunity for a New Business-focused Account Manager in London!

  • Salary £50,000 - 60,000 OTE £100,000
  • Flexible working - London office 2 times per week.
  • Selling a tool for a sustainability monitoring

Our client, a leading Green-tech company from Scandinavia, has recently opened a new office in Paddington, London and is seeking a highly motivated and experienced New-Business-focused Account Manager to join their team.

As a sales person within the company, you will play a crucial role in driving growth and ensuring the success of the company by developing strong relationships with new clients.

With a remit to scale and expand sales operations across the UK and mainland Europe, the UK MD is looking for people who he can work closely with to develop and turn in to sales stars of the future. You will be part of a 200 person company, where the majority of employees currently in the companies offices in Sweden.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify new business opportunities through market research and analysis and develop strategies to win new clients
  • Build strong relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor to your clients
  • Sell access to the companies sustainability monitoring tool and consulting services
  • Develop and implement account plans, ensuring targets are met and exceeded, and regularly review performance to identify areas for improvement
  • Work closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure clients receive the best possible experience

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in business development and account management, with a preference for experience in a technology-focused environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Ability to identify and evaluate new business opportunities and develop strategies to win new clients
  • A passion and interest in the world of sustainability and environmental services,
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively, with the ability to find innovative solutions to complex challenges

Salary: £50,000-£60,000 with an OTE of £100,000

25 days annual leave

Monthly personal days - taken at your discretion
