We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised assistant to join our friendly team and support the development of the Limited Editions programme.
Since 2000, Tate has been inviting artists from our exhibition programme and collection to produce new limited edition artworks in a diverse range of media to sell in our shops. With proceeds from the sales directly supporting Tate, our Limited Editions programme is an effective and innovative way for us to raise vital funds and it enables a wide public to own and live with the art of our time.
In this role, you will visit and liaise with artist’s galleries, print studios, photographers and framers. You will assist with the planning and participation of art fairs. You will carry out a range of administrative and record-keeping tasks as well as other relevant responsibilities.
You will have excellent administration skills with impeccable attention to detail and a self-motivated approach to work. You will be comfortable communicating in a professional manner and will be knowledgeable of contemporary art. Previous experience with limited edition artworks and prints is desirable but not essential.
Working days are open to discussion but will be 17.5 hours a week (2.5 days). This position is offered on a fixed-term contract until 31 March 2024.
