The Opportunity
We are excited to be recruiting for a permanent Finance Administrator, focusing on purchase ledger.
The Company
IPN is an innovative, well-established and award-winning pet food manufacturer, now employing over 400 people across our 3 UK sites. Our family of brands include Harringtons, Wagg, Barking Heads & Meowing Heads, AATU and a selection of partner brands that trust us to produce food on their behalf. Our kitchens in Thirsk and Kinmel produce dry, wet and baked foods which are enjoyed by dogs and cats all over the world.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintenance of the accounts payable ledger-
Processing of supplier invoices

Manage supplier queries via the accounts payable inbox and other means of supplier communication

Managing the accounts payable inbox

Processing supplier details changes with appropriate verification

Setting up of new suppliers

Liaising with internal colleagues to resolve queries

Managing the weekly payment run and payment postings

Statement reconciliations & invoice filing

Ensuring debit balances on the ledger are collected on a timely basis

Take part in testing of any system or process changes

Assisting with sales ledger tasks to help the team where required

Processing simple management accounts journals with appropriate training

Assisting with any other finance related tasks as needed.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
Previous experience in same or similar position-
Ability to demonstrate good attention to detail

IT / PC literate
-
GCSE Math grade C or above or equivalent
-
Purchase ledger/accounts payable experience.
The Offer

Location: Thirsk / Hybrid

Salary: £25,000 per annum

Hours:40 hours per week - Monday to Friday

Bonus: 10%
-
£100 fuel bonus per month to assist with the rise in fuel costs

Pension:Employee contributions 3% / Employer contribution 8%
