Who we are looking for

A Junior Microstrategy Developer who will be responsible for developing and supporting Business facing reports and analytical tools in MicroStrategy.

You will be involved in creating, maintaining and enhancing the MicroStrategy product for the Business.

You will be working in a growing team of experienced MicroStrategy developers who manage and maintain the MicroStrategy reporting environment for all areas of the Business. We have a wide variety of projects, varying from self-service reporting to analytical dashboards and tabular reports.

Training will be provided as a combination of on the job learning and MicroStrategy education material. You will be encouraged to use the online resources that MicroStrategy has to offer and apply these in practice, under the guidance of our more experienced developers.

The day-to-day work is interesting, challenging and fast paced amidst a hardworking and delivery focused Company ethos.

This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.

Understanding of SQL.

Main Responsibilities

Working closely with the MicroStrategy developers and wider data team to support the Business and understand their problems to design solutions.

Designing, developing and testing Business facing reports in MicroStrategy.

Developing an intimate and detailed knowledge of the Business data and KPIs.

Analysing and troubleshooting of poorly performing queries, reports, procedures and batch jobs.

Working within coding standards, quality and timescales.

Taking responsibility for the creation and maintenance of relevant documentation.
