An opportunity to have full responsibility for the finance and administration function of a successful Dundee based food processing business. The largest in it's sector, the company has made significant investment to continue growth and finance is a key area. Planning for succession, the directors are seeking an experienced Accounts / Office Manager.
The role will be varied with key responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Company monthly Payroll, pensions and HMRC submissions
- Management of sales and purchase ledgers
- Checking Weekly Stock Reports
- Processing VAT returns
- Liasing with external accountants
- Supervision of accounts assistant and reception
- Supporting senior management including Factory Manager and Directors as required.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in a similar role, running a full finance function. Good IT skills including Excel, Sage 50 accounts and payroll. Ideally from an FMCG, manufacturing / processing environment. The ability to work as part of a small head office team is essential, particularly meeting the needs of busy summer seasonal period. The role will be office based, northeast side of Dundee, with a very attractive salary and benefits for the right candidate.
