Job Description
Annaghmore Agencies Ltd established in 1977 is one of the largest importers and wholesalers of furniture in the U.K and Ireland. Due to business growth, we are currently seeing to recruit warehouse operatives to work in our state-of-the-art warehouse facility based in Annaghmore, Co. Armagh. Duties include:
· Operating various mechanical handling equipment incl. Aisle master, VNA and Order pickers. Full accredited training will be provided.
· Gathering orders for dispatch,
· Loading Trailers for dispatch
· Unloading incoming containers
· Various other duties as requested by Management adhering to health and safety rules
The Successful candidate will have:
· Good written & spoken English.
· Be physically fit due to the manual handling aspects of the role.
· Own transport due to the location of the site
· Ability to work on their own initiative.
This position is a full-time permanent position, over 38hrs per week. Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 4.45pm, Friday 8.30am to 4.00pm. The hourly rate of pay starts at £10.50, increasing in increments to £11.75 when the successful candidate is competent in all aspects of the role. Flexibility will be required as overtime may be required at peak periods and paid at 1.5 times the hourly rate. Holiday entitlement is 31days per year with the opportunity to earn an additional 4 days leave. The successful candidates will receive two financial bonuses per year.
