Business and Partnerships Development Manager

Salary: £35, 747 (plus Inner London Weighting of £3,344, if applicable)
A fantastic opportunity to join a leading humanitarian organisation to develop strategically aligned and outcomes focused funding bids and partnerships for UK Crisis and Emergency Response (CER).
What you will be doing
The Business and Partnerships Development Manager will lead on the development of funding bids and national partnerships which will help to develop and deliver our Crisis and Emergency Response offer across the UK, ensuring its relevant and able to reach those that need us.
Working closely with Crisis and Emergency Response leadership team, this role will understand our offer, the outcomes we aim to achieve and identify new ways of working (with new and existing organizations) to amplify the impact we can make through bid development and partnership agreements.
What we are looking for
You will have experience of building successful national relationships (both internal and external) and have a thorough knowledge of the relationship and partnership development process from initial proposals through to final negotiations.
You will be able to work at a national, strategic level and focus opportunities on outcomes.
You will be confident in the collation and analysis of data to drive performance and quality.

Meet the team
Over the past two years, British Red Cross has supported over 4 million people affected by emergencies in the UK, including over 1.5 million people face to face. The CER team is a multidisciplinary team working across the disasters and emergencies portfolio area in the UK. Our team is small but what we can accomplish is significant. We’re united by a shared passion for user-centred design, data driven decision making, making things better for our volunteers and staff, and ultimately delivering valuable services and products to people in crisis across the UK. The team are part of UK Operations which includes subject matter experts and operational delivery specialists.
The team collectively work on the Crisis and Emergency Response product portfolio which will comprise face to face and online services as well as the tools, plans and processes our frontline teams need to deliver them.
