Presentation of the role:
You will support the Trade and Meetings & Events team on their daily tasks including but not limited to indirect accounts management, group sales and production for both leisure and corporate. The missions will vary depending on the seasonality’s needs and periods of the year.
As a Trade and Meetings & Events VIE, you will be responsible for:

Compliance with Club Med processes

Trade team support
-
M&E sales & production support
You will report to the Head of Sales Trade & M&E.
Mission 1: Support the trade, corporate and leisure group enquiries are being managed in a timely manner and that the processes are followed

Qualify, quote and confirm group requests

Keep Salesforce updated with contacts and contracts
-
Liaise with transport to finalize flight requirements

Issue contracts

Confirm the groups to the Revue Management (RM) at time of deposit received

Work with business developer and key account managers to identify and develop group opportunities
Mission 2: Support the production of all the Meetings & Events groups/events

Fill in the Production portal properly

Send invoices and follow-up on payments

Communicate invoices to the accountant

Send an information memo to the client

Enter the rooming list and communicate it to the resort
-
Finalize the program with the group and make all necessary changes (contact the resort to assess possibilities)

Sell extra-services (excursions…) to the client Advise the resort and send the program/BEO

Assist client on a day-to-day basis to organize the event
Mission 3: Support indirect accounts management and business development

Support daily incoming admin requests from indirect partners

Support the development of the indirect booking platform (CMTA)

Support marketing strategy to develop indirect sales (social media, CRM, incentives etc)

Be in charge of weekly sales reporting
Your profile:
If you are client oriented, have negotiation, organisation and strong admin skills, you may be the perfect candidate for this role.
EDUCATION:

Master’s degree in business and/or hospitality – Business School / Universities
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE:
-
Experience in sales

Experience in the hospitality industry in a plus
LANGUAGES:
English and French (both mandatory)
HARD SKILLS:
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce
SOFT SKILLS:
Entrepreneurial spirit, persistent & demanding, open-minded, team player. Reactive, target oriented.
