Skilled, committed support workers who can build positive relationships with children and young people are essential to achieving these aims.
You will work alongside partner agencies to prevent children and young people from becoming involved in offending behaviour, including:

- Enabling children and young people to access positive activities
- Delivering targeted interventions with children and young people who have received an Out of Court Disposal, or who are involved in other prevention and diversion work
- Supporting work in schools and other settings to prevent children and young people from becoming involved in youth street violence and conflict
This role is emotionally challenging and involves working with vulnerable children and young people, lone-working and home visits, and could take place within the Youth Offending Team or alongside partner agencies.
