THE OPPORTUNITY
An exciting opportunity has arisen in Zenobe’s Finance Team. Finance is at the core of all of Zenobe’s activities, with this role offering unrivalled business exposure in one of the UK’s most highly capitalised scale ups.
With Zenobe’s rapid growth, there is an imperative for sound process management and leadership within the organisation. The Group Accountant will be working across global operations and will play a key role in preparing monthly financial and operational management information, loan and shareholder reporting and other ad hoc requests, as well as other day to day operational finance requirements. Given the ever-changing nature of Zenobe due to its rapid growth, the successful candidate will need to be both proactive and adaptable to thrive in the business.
A TASTE OF THE DAY TO DAY
- Analysing actual performance versus forecasts and budgets
- Preparing commentary explaining to management the global financial performance and position of the group
- Project reporting
- Ensuring the integrity of the general ledger and subsidiary systems
- Preparing month-end journals and reports
- Ensure balance sheets reconciliations are produced to a high standard
- Loan reporting
- Liaising with auditors and providing audit information
- Other ad hoc duties as required to support the operational finance team
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
-
At least 3 years’ experience working in either industry or practice
- Recently qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA/ICAS or overseas equivalent
- Proficient user on Excel
- Experience of using a medium sized enterprise finance system such as Netsuite, SAP ByDesign etc is desirable
- Self-starter
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced and ever-changing environment
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail
